Many people have said that they would love to do this BUT it looks like it takes so much time. I always tell people that I am a stay a home mom with 2 kids under 3, I babysit 2 kids part time, teach workshops, work on our website, and have a husband that coaches 2 sports-like I have TIME!!! I usually do one BIG trip a month and then do 2-3 smaller trips to help save time. If I can do this I know you can too.
This is an example of my once a month BIG trip:
Planning time: 30 minutes

10 min. to look at store sales (at the grocery gathering)

10 min. to make my menu & list

10 min. to print and cut coupons
Shopping time: 2 hours-I shopped with a friend and we talked some so I could have done it in 1 & 1/2 hours
*I spent a total of 2 & 1/2 hours and my total savings is $187.88- this breaks down to be $75.15 an hour I made by just being a smart consumer! I know that I didn’t make this much an hour when I was teaching!!!

2 gallon whole milk

2-5lb bags whole wheat flour

**We stock up when items are at rock bottom prices. This month I stocked up on Purex deterent, cereal, oatmeal, mouthwash, soup, cold medicine, and frozen vegs.
