Why Won’t My Coupons Print?

Have you ever had trouble printing coupons? Do you get a message that you’ve already printed the coupon the number of times allowed and you know you haven’t printed it even once? Have you been asked to install the coupon printer over and over again? You are not alone. Trouble printing coupons is one of the most common couponing frustrations. Here are some suggestions to avoid having problems again.

Install coupon printing software. Some printable coupons require a small software download in order to print. This download is free, and I have never heard of any viruses associated with it.

Print coupons as quickly as possible. Many coupons have a print limit. Once that limit is reached, no more coupons will print, even if you haven’t yet printed any from your computer. Other coupons are limited to two prints per computer. To get a coupon to print twice simply hit the back arrow on your browser and the coupon should print again.

Troubleshoot bricks coupons. A bricks coupon has a url that begins with “http://bricks.coupons.com/.” If you have issues printing bricks coupons, try changing a few letters in the url.

This is an example of a bricks coupon:

The highlighted letters in the url are the letters you’ll need to change depending on the browser you use in order to make the coupon print.

Here are the letters you should use instead:

Firefox: wg or vg

Internet Explorer: vi or wi

Safari: xs

I hope these tips save you a little frustration and money. There are some great printable coupons out there!

Thanks to Heidi at Little People Wealth where I first read about the bricks tip.

Same problem as Sam is having. Have tried reinstalling, shutting off virus software, using 2 different browsers. Yet still always same result, coupons do get sent to the print queue, I saw them there but they never print. I clicked the article link submitted by Chrissy and I am not sure she even read Sam’s message as it does not even address our shared problem.
