Printing coupons online has become very popular. Many manufacturers are taking advantage of technology to get coupons into consumers’ hands at the lowest cost. Manufacturers offer higher value coupons online because they can control the number of times a given person can print the same coupon and they save money on distribution.

Who takes Internet coupons

Most retail stores will accept online coupons as long as they have the bar code and expiration date printed on them. Call or ask your customer service desk about their coupon policy.

How do I print a coupon

To print online coupons, all you need is a computer and printer. The first time you print a coupon you may be prompted to download a “coupon printer.” This program tells your computer how to print the bar code so your coupons can be scanned at the store. Your computer will alert you and guide you through the process. Make sure your print is turned on, loaded with paper, and has ink before you hit print because your coupon will be sent automatically.

How many coupons can I print

Most sites will allow you to print 2 copies of the same coupon. After you print the first coupon, you can simply hit the back button a few times to resent the coupon to your printer.

Problems printing coupons

If you notice your print limit has been reached for a coupon you have not printed, you can assume that means the coupons is not available in your region or has reached it limits. Make sure to check back later because many times a manufacturer will reset their coupons.
If you have issues printing bricks coupons, try changing a few letters in the url. A bricks coupon has a url that begins with http://bricks.coupons.com/

This is an example of a bricks coupon:

The highlighted letters in the url are the letters you’ll need to change depending on the browser you use in order to make the coupon print.

Here are the letters you should use instead:

Firefox: wg or vg
Internet Explorer: vi or wi
Safari: xs

I don’t want to enter my email address

Some companies will ask you to register with their site to print out coupons. If you choose to do this we suggest you create a “junk mail” e-mail address with an e-mail service provider, meaning an address that you use only for this purpose. Many companies will send you great offers but if you don’t want your personal or business e-mail to be overloaded I suggest you set up a separate e-mail address.

I’m new to couponing. Some of the coupons that I printed out off of various websites didn’t scan when I got to the registers. I downloaded the coupon printer software before printing the coupons like I was prompted to do. Has anyone else ran across this problem at the registers? If so, what do you do?

This could be because your printer is low on ink or you can check the quality setting on your printer??

I’m new to using coupons and noticed that I am using A LOT of printer ink to print out these coupons…..seems to me that I’m spending more money on ink than what the coupon saves me. How do I save my printer’s ink while printing coupons?????

Just Wondering…

Make sure you have your printer set to print in black and white.

Hello, Yes, to Kari. I have had that happen but, my check out clerks just type in the amount that the coupon is for. Good Luck!

How do you print in black and white?? I have set my printer to black and white only and it still prints in color (high quailty). It’s not my printer everything else prints in black and white. (I don’t think any ways) Can you change settings with the coupon printer? Can someone help?
