picked up your book at the library, and subsequently bought it….it had so many great money saving ideas…i am recently retired and have started using grocery store coupons…my next project is going to be trying some of your household cleaning solutions…i can’t believe how much i have saved already, $147.50 last month and since i’m still a “novice” at this i’m sure the savings will grow….thanks so much for your great book and website…

I thought I’d try making my own cleaning supplies as mentioned in your book. So, I went to Walmart to pick up supplies. I couldn’t find the washing soda. I looked in the laundry and cleaning supply areas. The person helping me thought they must not carry it. Is it hard to find?

My Walmart doesn’t carry this either. Most people I know have found this at their local grocery store (in the laundry section). Good Luck!

The best deal on All You Magazines is through Ebates when they give cash back to Magazines.com. This deal happens every few months (don’t worry I will post this up next time it comes around).

Hello! I was wondering if there is a schedule available for the 2012 coupon inserts? The 2011 schedule was an extremely valuable tool for me to plan how many papers I’d need as well as to plan for certain sales. I also like to hand this out during my workshops. :)

Hi,
I thought I’d let you know that Safeway just started a new coupon policy today where they will NOT take computer generated coupons if they don’t scan. Now of course you won’t know if it doesn’t scan until you try it and then you either put the product back or pay full price, which is what happened to me this morning.I had a coupon for Cheerios with General Mills and the redemption address on it and it would not scan. I was given a complaint card which I filled out and will send in but I wanted to let you know so you could alert your readers.
