We did a major shopping trip today. We went shopping today and spent $126.40 but saved $389.27! We did a big shopping trip today because it is a tax free weekend in Missouri and I also knew lots of summer items would be on clearance.
Here is how we saved money:

*Got $10 back for every $50 spent-store incentive from Kohl’s
I used a Groupon and saved $565 at the dentist! The girls got their teeth checked and cleaned and I got an exam, x-rays, cleaning and a teeth whitening kit.
Entertainment-Total Saved $130
We went out to eat twice and saved over $30 with coupons. We also used our season passes a ton to help save money on entertainment!
We always go out to this fancy restaurant for our anniversary. This year we decided to go out to the lake to take a hike and have a picnic. The grandparents kept the kids overnight so we got to sleep in (the best gift ever). We saved $100 by skipping the fancy dinner out and we still had fun!
Clothes-Total Saved $72
We saved $35 on a flower girl dress and $20 on the shoes. I also found a black skirt on sale for only $8. This was not a planned expense but I needed a new black skirt and it was a great deal!
Gifts-Total Saved $120
I needed 3 Father’s Day gifts this year. With a little planning I saved $120!
We had a few unexpected expenses but nothing major.
