Saving 5% on all your Target purchases can add up to be a ton of money, but if you don’t use it right it can cost you more money in interest. I only suggest you get a Target Red Card if you are going to turn around and pay off your card right away and you have the money in the bank to pay for it. Most people get in trouble by saying they will pay this off when they get paid next month and then they have an unexpected bill come up and they can’t make the payment. They now have to pay interest and they are not saving money like they had planned.
One way to get the benefits of a Target Red Card is to get the Target debit card. This card works like a check by drawing from your existing checking account and has a secured PIN access. You can also get a cash withdrawal up to $40 at checkout.
